The aim of the Carlisle Community Cycle Hub is to make cycling available to everyone and to encourage adults, young people & children (regardless of age, cycling experience, gender, social class) to consider cycling as a recreation and as an alternative means of transport.

A recent Cycling UK survey states 46% of people over 5 years of age have a bike. Based on our 10 year experience of receiving donated bikes, we reckon approximately 80% of them are rarely used.
If you have an unused bike or cycling equipment please consider donating it to be refurbished by our staff and volunteers.
